I had a RIR Rooster in my first batch of chicks. When he got older he got mean and I had to get rid of him. I free range my birds and he didn't like me getting near his girls. Which I thought was weird because I handled them as chicks. Hopefully yours won't act like mine did.

He does act like that too and he is only about 6 weeks old. He will be leaving us as I don't want mean rooster around my granddaughters. I am just waiting till by baby barred rocks get older so that I can put the RIR hen with the other girls.
