change of pecking order

I have a flock of 4 and all of a sudden my RIR that was always at the top is being attacked by the one on the bottom. This was my once timid and pecked featherless amaraucana and the others are also participating. This is not just a little peck on the back or head but rather brutal biting and feet flying. Is this normal and will it end on it's own? My RIR won't even leave the coop to free range!

Need more info:
Age and gender of the 4 birds?
Did they grow up together?
How big is coop and run(feet by feet)?

The coop is 4x4 the run is 16x16. They free range in the yard a few hours a day. I wish it was more, but we have lost them to bobcats when they are unsupervised. The two that are more aggressive with each other were in the brooder together 15 months ago. The other 2 were introduced about a year ago. They are about 1 to 1.5 years older than the others. They are all hens.
