we are a little new to this as we had 4 hens once before and now we bought 10 but that was a couple years ago and so my question is , how long until we take them to their coop ?
they are just tiny right now and stupid me didn't think to ask how old they were. some have a few feathers but others don't .
thanks in advance ...

Welcome to BYC!
If they are just getting wing feathers they are likely a week or even less -- if the feathering is progressing to developing tail feathers, feathering on the back/chest, etc add a week or so to that. Generally speaking, they no longer need supplemental heat once they are fully feathered, which can happen around 5-6 weeks - or when they are housed in ambient temperatures that are at/above that that would be accomplished with heat (this depends on your location).
If you post photos of your chicks we can help you better age them (and also admire how cute they are, lol).

Usually the chicks can start going outside a bit once they are FULLY FEATHERED OUT, usually around 6-8 weeks old. it also depends on your climate. If you are still getting ice, snow, sleet and raw temps like we are -- I wouldn't hurry them outside unless their coop will have a heat lamp for the evenings. If you are having warm, bright days let them out for short periods to see how they do. If they act chilled, they need to go back inside. Gradually they can spend more time in coop/run than in their brooder.
