Help!!! Hawk Attack-Eye Injury

My Olive Egger was attacked by a hawk tonight before sunset. She has a bruised shoulder, a lot of feathers pulled out and an injured eye. When I found her after the attack her eye was blood red. Should I put polysporin in her eye to keep infection at bay until I can get her to the vet tomorrow?

My flock consists of a husband, daughter, son, a tortoise, two cats, 21 ducks and 40 chickens.

I would flush it out with saline. The ointment may prevent the vet from seeing into the eye and doing a proper exam in the morning. If it's going to be later in the day, it may be okay. All ointments are thick petroleum based products, and although they are good for treatment, they can make the exam harder to perform.
