Also this is where I'm super confused. I don't know if they are the same breed. The one I posted up top has always been super super super darker then the other lighter ones. We have 2 of those dark colored ones(top photo) and 9 of the othee(bottom photo). That's where I am lost about. Lol
It's a production Red or hatchery quality Rhode Island Red.

What's the difference between production red, and hatchery quality Rhode Island Red? Sorry, this is my first flock. We got 18 as a first flock and hadn't lost any yet. Thanks for all of the info.
