Our little family recently purchased two chickens. A red production hen and a Tetra hen. They seemed in good health at the time. But Iv discovered lice and stick tight fleas on our Tetra. And our red production hen today, started to have light labored breathing, clear running nose and slightly droopy wings. We've never had chickens before, and me and my husband are trying the best we can to ensure their health and happiness. They've even already given us 10 fresh eggs. Our tetra has givin us an egg everyday. But our Red go's two days, and skips one. Today is a skip day, but also her first indications of a possible problem. I'm not exactly sure away to do

and we already are very attached to our two girls, us and our children, any advise at all would be helpful

Hi and welcome to BYC. I would suggest re-posting your question, giving as much detail as possible on the "Emergencies, diseases, injuries and cures" forum for the best feedback.

Good luck!
