I've want chicks for many many year but my city didn't allow them until this year. I have 6 chicks between 5-7 weeks. 2 white leghorns, 2 golden sex links, 1 speckled Sussex and 1 white lakenvelder. I'm starting to think my "white" lakenvelder isn't white but maybe a golden lakenvelder? I'm also thinking one of my leghorns is possibly a roo due to the fact his/her comb is red when the other one is still yellow. They are both 6-7 weeks. Since my city doesn't allow roo's I can't keep it if it's a roo. They ranch store I got them from said they were pulleys but I'm just not sure. I'm also not to sure if my lakenvelder (5 weeks) or my speckled Sussex (6 weeks) are pullets or roo's either. They weren't sexed at the ranch store so I took my chances.

This is our "white" Lakenvelder (Rosie) that I'm thinking isn't white. 5 wks.

These are my 2 white Leghorns. The one turned sideways is Lighning whoes comb is red and is getting waddles. The one looking at me is Diamond and her/his comb is still yellow and waddles haven't started growing yet. Both 6-7 wks.

The one facing me is our golden sex link (Peaches), 7 wks. The one facing away is another one of our lakenvelder (Rosie). Rosie follows Peaches around everywhere.

Another of our 2 leghorns and our other golden sex link (chicken Nugget) 6-7 wks.

Our speckled Sussex (Pixie). 6-7 wks.

I think Lightning is a male due to his red comb at such an early age. The others, I'm not able to see that well. You could try posting at "what breed or gender is this."

Hi and welcome to BYC - I agree with DD - the forum mentioned attracts the gender and breed gurus, so you will for sure get more feedback there.

All the best
