I have 3 incus full, a brooder in the barn with about 30 babies, one in my bedroom with another 7 or so..
But I lucked out and found 2 Welsh Harlequin ducklings in a TSC bin, so I keep going back on the chance that I'll find a couple more..or a couple black Silkies. ...or a couple Polish chicks thrown in an assortment.. love finding chicks that aren't supposed to be in there..lol.. it's like digging thru your grandma's attic or something ♡♡

Welshies at TSC???
(I already have three.... I don't need any more!)

What I want is white leghorns, I miss them and their bright white eggs.

I have 8 eggs going into lockdown tomorrow, and 15 eggs coming soon. 6 pullets (about 6 weeks old) and 8 4wk olds and 5 1wk olds are the remainder of my chicks, and I have 15 hens..... Not a severe case of arithmechick yet, but many more then I envisioned keeping!

I have a couple bantam leghorns I got in a mismatched group of 120+ eggs.. there was everything from OEGB to Phoenix in those ♡♡

And yes..can u believe it ?!. There was only supposed to be KC, Rouen and Pekin..saw 2 that looked like WH and was like 'oh they're probably that hybrid 300 or something' but got them anyways.. here they are about a week ago ♡

So my Polish chick Dory is about 3 weeks old, and from the moment I got her, she has sneezed every 10 second. The first 2 days, she wasn't under a brooder light, and the feed store I got her from didn't have the babies under a brooder light either....

But when we bought her a 2 week old friend, we decided they needed a brooder light.

Is she sneezing because she is sick? Or because her huge polish skull makes her nostrils more susceptible to allergens/stuff getting in?

My Polish always seem like they got sick easier than other breeds.. is there any discharge, rattling sounds when she breathes, or any odd behavior other than the sneezing? Are these 2 the only ones you have or do you have adults too?

Lol I am not allowed to go to IFA by myself!

She just sneezes alot.

But other then that she preens, eats, drinks, and poops normally. She is getting her feather nubs right now, and her chick fluff should start shedding any time next week.

she doesn't rattle, just a short burst of air out of her nostrils and she continues with her chicken'y life.

Idk if it is just the color of her beak, or dirt, but there seems to always be something in her overly large nostrils.....

The first time my mom used the head of a pin to get a pretty big chunk of dried poo and wood chip out of her nose, but she still sneezes like there is something in there.

maybe she has allergies?

What type of bedding do you use?

I have 2 Polish hens. The first one is Abby and the bottom one is Tina (obvious). Very sweet birds. Very affectionate.
