For a while now I've been looking for plants (preferably fruiting ones)to put in my chicken yard if you have any suggestions please let me know I live in zone 8a according to the usda hardiness map
 
Try asking on your state's thread, if there is one. I'm in zone 5, so some choices, maybe. Mediterranian herbs, especially the shrubs. Mint. Viburnums, blueberries if acid soil. Anything with edible fruit (you won't get any!). Very dwarf fruit trees and shrubs. Dogwoods. Catmints/catnip. Mary
