My pet turkeys leg

I have a young turkey his hock is swollen an foot an leg is turned backwards has any one ever heard of putting a cast on their legs to help correct. Need some answers I love my little bird

You will probably get better and quicker help by posting in the Emergencies / Diseases / Injuries and Cures forum.

Without actually seeing the turkey, my guess is that the tendon has slipped out of place. Other people have dealt with this issue and the younger the bird is when it happens, the better chance of repairing it. Personally I don't deal with it and do put the bird down.
