Is this a rooster?

Thread Starter

I bought 4 Americauna chicks about a month ago. They were supposed to be 2 weeks old at that time, so we are floating somewhere around 6 weeks, give or take a couple of days. My question is....is one of them a rooster?

His(her) tail feathers stick up MUCH further when sitting, standing, eating, or walking around. I tried to get some pictures, will go get more if needed.

The one with the most red on it is a he (the one in the farthest back in the first pic). Looks like he has a pretty pronounced red comb as well.

You have Easter Eggers. And two of them are cockerels. The two that are up front, in this picture, are boys. They have the patchy dark red on the wing/shoulder area, that is specific to males.
