Hi I have just joined the site and I am actually looking for some help with incubating. I have one RIR roo and seven RIR hens as well as two Australian Australorp hens. I just went thru a full cycle (now day 24) and out of 12 eggs only 1 actually made it out healthy. Five looked good at day 18 before lockdown but show no sign of pip or movement for over 48 hours. I followed the advice found on this site as best I could but not sure what I did wrong. Any ideas?

Did you calibrate your thermometer and humidity sensors?
 
Hi and welcome to BYC. Sorry, i have no experience in using incubators, but you may wish to consider posting your question on the "incubating and hatching eggs" forum.

The thermometer and humidity sensors are built in and I monitored them very close. I can say that one looked "shrink wrapped", a couple looked to be full of water but the air sacs looked small in all. Hope this helps
