My momma hen has 2 fertilized eggs one is 6 days old and the other is about 4-5 days old.
We live in Florida, tempts are 90's in the day and 70's at night.
Do I need to make a brooder with heat lamp when the chicks arrive or will the FL. heat be enough?

Any advice for a newbie, preparing for the arrivals of 2 chicks in Fl?
Thanks

No need for a brooder - mother is a brooder. I have had hens raise chicks in the middle of a NJ winter. Keep an eye on things when the first chick hatches. Frequently a hen will leave the nest within 24 to 36 hours after the first chick hatches. This is why staggered hatches are not a good idea.
