I need some advise please. I have about 30 chickens all between 1-3 years old with the majority missing feathers on their back. I don't see any parasites but still added DE to their dust bath area with no effect. I tried applying peck no more with little improvement. I also have added more free choice calcium and it was eaten faster than normal but no change in feathers. Please advise.

What and how exactly are you feeding?
Despite the cause of the feather loss, they likely won't grow back until they go thru a molt.

Yes the area is between the wings all the way to the tail.
Currently have 3 roosters. Waiting for my husband to take care of 2 of them.
I'm feeding them regular layer feed, free choice.

There is a parasite called a feather or depluming mite that can result in almost total hen nakedness. This mite is kin to the scaly leg mite and like the scaly leg mite depluming mites are invisible to the human eye. These mites infest the feather follicles and shafts and can cause enough misery that hens pull their own feathers out to get releaf.

Sounds like rooster wear. Not really typical for 3 cocks on 30 hens but certainly seems the most likely option. You'll need to remove some cocks or saddle the hens. The feathers will regrow during the hen's next molt.

Depluming mites are extremely rare.
