After buying Storeys Guide to Ducks and being unable to find appropriate duckling grower, I decided to try making my own feed following there directions. However it was not till after spending 150 dollars on feed that I realized how hard it is too find two of the ingredients. Dicalcium Phosphate and Meat and Bone Meal. I was able to find one supplier of meat and bone meal but the smallest quantity they sell is 1000 kg totes. Any suggestions or even alternatives to these ingredients? Also interested in recipes others may use! Thank you!

Hi and welcome to BYC. I'd suggest posting your question on the "duck" forum for advice.

The main problem it seems is acquiring all the ingredients in useable sizes. If you can only buy big amounts of each, the food could be spoiled by the time your number of ducks is able to consume it. I know chicken folks often have the same problem unless they find a mill that will produce it for them.
