Hi everyone, I posted a few weeks ago in a different forum, and that's when I discovered I had accidentally purchased some Cornish X meat chickens instead of gold sex links. I only have three of them and they are doing okay despite the fact the other normal chickens pick on them. All three of them have an abnormally large growth on their right breast that is significantly larger than their left. When I feel it with my fingers it feels like a large squishy ball under their skin. I know Cornish X's are bred for huge breasts, but why would the right one over-develop like that? I'm worried that if it is a tumor or abnormal growth that they may not be safe to eat. Any help would be appreciated!
