I have a Buff Orp hen about 5yrs not well. Her vent is a "mess" and she isn't able to walk. Is there anything I can do about this. Not sure how long this has been going on. Just noticed her behaving this way today. She feels very thin as I can easily feel her breast bone. help!
 
Clean off her vent with warm water and separate her from the others with lots of food and water. Keep an eye on her to make sure she doesn't get worse. She is old so that might be part of it. Hoping everything works out. :)
