How long does it take for older hens to get used to the younger ones

I am about to give up on my chickens. I have to take them out of the coop twice a day. I have 4 2 are 7 months and 2 are 3 months. I have a favorite she is the 3 month old dark brahma. She is as sweet as she can be. The other brahma is very hard to get back in the coop. The older ones usually go easy with some organic bread. We gave a chicken tractor. I asked my husband to build a run so It would make my life easier.I am tired of sitting outside and watching them. Fighting to get the one brahma in the coop. Now I bribe her with freeze dried worms. Then I have to pick her up and place her on the second shelf. They are still afraid of my one hen. She is a bully. The brahmas are her size now. I read and was told it was a age thing. I just do not want the chickens to be attacked by a hawk, eagle or loose dog. I am the main care taker of the chickens. I also take care of 2 small dogs 4 chinchillas I have had for years. My husband said it is normal which I know. I do not like it especially when it makes my life a lot harder. I k ow the reason they will not go in the coop is because of the 1 hen. She was my first. The other small bantam is not that bad she will sometimes go after them. They are much larger then her. She will go face to face with them. It is the one hen. Any suggestions because I am about to give up. Here are a few pictures. The light colored hen is the bully.

Being free range it will take a very long time for them to go to coop on their own. Back in the day when I free ranged had two new introduction pullets in fall to ensure we'd not be buying any eggs. Well, it took all of one night for them to roost on the trees growing up from the river bank. If I climbed to get them they'd just climb higher. They roosted in those trees for well over a month. I'm not sure if they integrated enough with flock or if they were finally getting cold up there in the late fall nights. One night they just went in the coop with the others and continued every night there after.

If you contain them they will coop themselves much quicker. It becomes the most inviting place and your forcing flock integration by the close proximity. Once I stopped complete free range integration would take two weeks maximum.

I wanted to ask a little different question. We had 6 hens about 2 months old and had them in a brand new coop. Everything was fine. We trained then to drink out of our Nipple system and also a pic pipe Feeder. They are very sweet chicks. A friend of mine had to get rid of her 2 yr old hens and ask if we want them. Soup or for eggs. We have a big coop so we said yes. Her advice was just put them all in and they will figure it out in a week. Well the 5 bullies are keeping my little hens in a corner. Will not allow them to eat or drink unless me or my hubby are there. They have never figured it out how to drink out of the Nipple system and have been dry for the past two days in 90+ degrees. They keep pecking at and chasing our little ones every move they make so we letting ours outside in a run so they can eat and drink in peace. But now all of my hens have diarrhea and I terrified to go in the coop. I am very unhappy and considering 5 rounds of chicken soup help!!!!

@lilofthestars I see this was in June, but curious how it's going? I read, if it one hen that is the issue, to separate that hen from the flock for a bit. That way, when she is re-introduced with everyone else, SHE will have to restablish herself in the order. It worked a *little* for me. I have a Barred Rock who was the issue (I have 3 older 4.5 month old hens with one and one 2 month old EE I was introducing). There was some scrapping, but the BR was really aggressive. I separated her for a couple days and she was so panicked not to be with her other litter mates. When I put her back with the group, she was still a little bullyish, but not like before. The longer you separate the aggressive hen, supposedly the better she'll be when you put her back because she will need to establish herself again. Funny, because the BR was actually the bottom of the pecking order before the EE chick came along. I guess she didn't want that anymore and was seizing her opportunity to step up!

Hi there well update is a little more eventful. The 5 bullies were moved to separate coop and are still mean to anyone else except humans. However the bullied hens now became bullies. I have two little chickens well size wise they are about the same but they will be fully grown in about 4 to 5 weeks. But my orps are scaring them and my poor two Littles won't come down from the roost to even eat or drink. I am going crazy. Already have 4 flocks because they just can't get along. We lost probably 5 chickens due to fighting.
