My New Silkie Laying in Her Food, Is That Normal?

She's eating but after when she's done she still laying in her food.

Normal my chicks do that all the time it's a comfort security thing

Normal. I went to a bigger dish to keep them from kicking it all out which lead to them both sleeping in there at the same time and roosting on the edge - which has led to pooping in the food. So I went back to the little quart chick feeder. No sleeping, no pooping, no scratching it all out

There she is, luckily she hasn't pooped in her food. Yet...
