I have a 238 gallon pool for my 3 ducks and I JUST changed the water 2 days ago and it's still fresh so I know they haven't been in it when I'm not looking. I have shooed them into a couple times and every time they jump back out as soon as I leave. There IS a tiny bit of algae around the walls of the pool but hardly any! I read on another thread that most ducks like to eat algae so I didn't bother to wipe it out. What could be making my ducks not want to swim? Are they maybe just bored with it? I know they are always quacking at me to let them out of their run to forage in the main yard but before they always satisfied themselves with swimming when they couldn't be out. I'm getting worried about them!
