Hey so my baby chicks hatched yesterday and I know u can't touch them but I really wanna hold them could I use latex gloves to hold them or is tht bad

Welcome to BYC! Please make yourself at home and we are here to help.

Why can't you touch them? As long as you are raising them, I don't see anything wrong with picking them up and cuddling them. Just be gentle.

Hi and welcome to BYC - you have some great advice already from Mountain Peeps, so I'll just say hello!

All the best

There isn't much danger in touching them after they hatch. It is true that oil from your hands can rub off on them, but it shouldn't harm them as long as your hands are decently clean.
