17 day old chicks fighting?

I have 6 new hens. I'm trying the playpen method this year to add them to my bigger birds. I have noticed they have been chest bumping each other ( the chicks not the big hens) and jumping and chasing each other. Is this ok are they just playing or should I be worried they are not hens and are going to hurt each other. They are around 5 weeks old but have been doing it for several weeks. That all look like girls and when I got them they were labeled as pullets. Should I be worried or are they just playing?

Probably pullets if they are only chest bumping. Young Roos kick and chase each other. Pecking ALSO.
there is a little pecking but there is chasing and chest bumping and also jumping on top of each other but I am about 90% sure I have all hens they are nice breeds from what I've heard but I've never raise 5 out of the 6 breeds before. Should I be concerned or is it fine.

The breeds are 2 buff orphingtons, 2 Columbian rocks, a partridge rock, and a easter egger

No!
Little cockerels are very determine to show aggression at an early age. Not to say others are wrong on this site. I only go by what I see and what has worked for me!
Pullets act pushy! Cockerels act mean and will fight even at two weeks old!
Never be concerned till the cocks get real big. Hens then can be kept and the Roos sold.

Ok thanks I just wondered cause the last time we got chicks they were not like this so I just worried. Like I said before they are pretty old and are not showing any cock resemblance I about 100% sure they are hens. But I just worried they are not getting along well (especially towards our mystery chick we think is a partridge rock) Thanks for responding, I'm glad someone actually did it's hard for me to get answers on here

I get the same attention for some reason?
Your probably dealing with hens? Introducing another to the flock will send everyone into being dominant again. Even if one top hen dies, it takes a few days to establish a pecking order.
Then they all live happily!

Alright thanks we are going to need to build on to our coop before we send them outside. We will have 8 chickens in this coop so if you happen to no how many nesting boxes they will need please respond back! :) Thanks

Thanks
For 8 hens all you really need is two or three boxes. I HAVE HAD 15 and only used four boxes and they all used only three of them.
