Hi! I have had chickens for four years and recently successfully hatched six chicks for the first time! They are now four weeks old.
I am looking forward to learning lots from BYC

Glad you could join us here and congrats on your successful hatch :celebrate It sure is an amazing experience to watch the new chick hatch from the egg. It can also become quite addictive ;) I got bitten by the hatching bug and have not looked back.

Thanks very much everyone! Here are some pictures: the first one was taken at about two days and the second one was a few days ago at four weeks.

They are RIR, two welsummers, two appenzellers and one suspected brahma but not sure (was meant to be a RIR egg when I bought them for hatching but I think not now because of the feathered feet and lack of 'red' :p
