I crossed a Birchen Modern Game Hen to a Brown Red Rooster but i dont know what i will get. So far 1 egg has hatched but one more will hatch soon. Im curious if anyone has crossed these 2 breeds before and if so what did you get. If not then what do you think the chicks will look like grown up, color wise. Im stumped.hmm.png

Welcome to BYC!

"Brown red" is a color not a breed. Unless you mean American Pit Game, I believe there is a Brown Red strain of Pit Game.

If you mean Brown Red as in an OEGB or similar, Brown Red and Birchen are different names for the same color. Birchen is the more accurate term, genetically speaking. All offspring will look like the parent of the same gender. I'm not sure about what the results will be if you mean the gamefowl strain; possibly the same, they appear to be a Birchen coloration.
