Forgive my being a Newbie, what are and how are poop boards used? I know the coop floor, then a little step up to the nesting box with the perches higher up. Still learning...

Thanks!

It's like a cat litter box type tray that sits off the ground, under the perches, so when the chickens are roosting and poop it lands in the trays and it's less messy.  You can fill it with sand or PDZ and use a cat litter scooper to clean it.  If you type 'poop board' into the search feature you'll get lots of threads about them with pics.
