Hey everyone!
So my new ducklings will be here in two weeks and I'm starting to get everything finalized. The coop and run will be completed today. The brooder is about 75% set up. Almost everything is done. I just have one final piece to figure out.
Does anyone keep a kiddie pool IN their run itself? Both my partner and I work full-time jobs, so the ducks will only get to free range in the morning, the evening, and on weekends. I already have a feeder and water system set up for inside the run. I'm just wondering if I also need to include a pool for them to play in when we're not home?
The original plan was to have a pool outside the run they can play in when we let them out. But now I'm wondering if having inside is more beneficial.
Any thoughts?
