an idea for too many culled meat birds and too many eggs?

i have an idea i would like to bounce off of yall. i plan on breeding enough birds(obviously within my abilities to take care of) so that i can harvest birds at a certain time for their meat but plan on using these same birds for egg production until they reach a desired weight for harvesting. when and if you ever have extra eggs you cant sell. what do you do with them if everyone close has enough eggs. we chose that we will donate a majority of our excess eggs to places like the care centers in our town, and to people that actually need the help. now when you have too many birds to sell or eat, do something nice like the idea above, or have a BBQ at a boys and girls club, obviously its not unethical to keep track of what you have put out of pocket and take the amount out of it. every group or organization does it because they are putting the money down for this event to happen but they also take a profit. dont try to turn a profit off of this event, just what was invested and since they were giveaway birds. really you take what it cost for all the cheap or secondary items as in sides plates, napkins etc. that you bought donate the rest of the money to the cause. iwe would love to hear everyones ideas and thoughts
