Hi guys, I treated one of my hens yesterday for being egg bound, she finally passed the egg around 7pm. I have her separated in my house right now. I kept her in the dark yesterday so as to prevent more egg production. I believe she was egg bound for 2 days before I treated her. So I'm planning on checking her for another egg today in case she's backed up. She pooped by herself this morning twice.

I gave her some of her normal feed, some grass, scratch and I crushed a calcium tablet in yogurt which she really likes. She's finally drinking some water too which she wouldn't do yesterday.

Should I be doing anything else for her and when can I let her back out to free range and sleep outside? I made her a nest in the room she's in. Am I supposed to wait for her to lay an egg normally before setting her loose?

It sounds like you are taking good care of her.
If she were mine and acting normal, eating, drinking, pooping, I would put her back with the flock to see how she does.
Keep an eye on her to make sure she is doing ok, any signs of being in distress, hunched up, etc., then bring her back in for monitoring.
If you haven't done so, provide oyster shell free choice so your girs have extra calcium available if they need it.
