I sort of have a delema. I'm going to show two Partridge Rock pullets in the county fair this, but my choices have been narrowed down. I ordered four chicks of that breed. One was a rooster, so I got rid of him, and the other three are doing fine. I know for sure I'm going to show one certain one with nice features and plumage, but I can't figure out the other two. The other one I want to show has a large bump on her neck, not sure what it is, but I'm going to get it checked out. If it's fixed by the fair, then I'll show her. The other one I may have to show instead if the bump doesn't clear up, but her features aren't the best and her plumage is just ratty. It's not glossy or shiny like the other two, it looks like she rolled around in dirt. Her feathers look awful, I don't know if something happened, her nutrition is bad, or genetics. I bought some Nutrena "Feather Fixer" food (any experience with it?) to help, and just get all their plumage nice, but are there any products that may come in handy? Thanks in advance.
