The poster doesn't say whether measures were taken to prevent further losses after The first rabbits were killed, but didn't say they weren't either. Not did they state that more rabbits were purchased to be housed in the same setup with no regard to possible future loss.

Plus, since the OP is their daughter,we are getting the story second-hand and have no idea what actual measures were taken, the amount of concern felt by the owners, nor the exact timetable over which the losses occurred. It seems unfair to judge these people.

:→ I don't normally put quotes around statements that I'm making, but I guess smoking that stuff could make me do funny things. I thought that this was fairly clear and consistent with the other comments about being part of the cycle, part of the ecosystem, part of the predator/prey circle as I stated in my posts before heading off on this tangent.

Alas if that is not radiating abundant clarity, I have to conclude that we communicate on different levels. And while I would love to engage in further repartee, this grows old and tired as re-quoting posts in the same thread fails to entice, the riposte are less than engaging I find my attentions drift to other threads....
