So last November getting close to December I saw an ad on Craigslist for racing pigeons and I looked into it I thought it looked very interesting hobby so I decided to get a few. I got 4 of them two of them are white two of them were more traditional the grey pretty colors and as I had heard pigeons were supposed to start laying around 5 or 6 month old and mine hit over 7 and 8 months old and no one had laid I decided that the three that I had left out of the 4 were all males and kind of just lost interest in raising racing pigeons after that. But now here they are at 10 or 11 months old at this point and I just found an egg. The two white ones are the pair that I have left and I assumed they were all boys because they all strut, coo they all act kind of aggressive. So is it odd or bad that my hen just laid her first egg this late?
