BCM - 3 weeks now

I am so anxious to figure out how many girls I have. I have noticed that I have three out of the 8 BCM that have larger combs and the combs have more red color. I think this is a pretty good indicator of being male. What do you all think?  Ignore the ISA brown in the pics.

Looks like a boy to me.

I am thinking boy as well. The comb has much more red though.

Check out that big comb.

They are camera shy

Yeppers, all three appear to be cockerels. :)

Happy owner of 37 wonderful hens, 2 amazing roosters, 5 interesting ducks, 1 unfriendly drake, 4 furry kitties, and 5 crabby parakeets!  Impatiently awaiting some very beautiful, special little chicks and ducklings this spring....

So is it the larger comb and the redness in the comb that is the indicator?  I ask because I don't want to give away any girls but I hate to hold onto boys for 3 or 4 months and then let them go.

Yep 3 cockerels. You don't have to hold them for months. by 6-8 weeks you should be pretty certain and also see if any more join the ranks of males.

Post again in another 3 weeks with new photos and see how decisions go then

Pretty much, I'd say! Pullets don't start pinking up or developing until much, much later than 3 weeks. I agree with drumstick diva, you only have to wait a few weeks longer just to be 100% sure you aren't giving away pullets. :)
