We just adopted a sweel 14 month old pot belly pig from a lady in blacksburg,sc. she couldnt take care of her anymore. Poppy weighs about 70 lbs and is 2 feet long and 18" high.

I wanted her because noone wants her. I have a friend who has a 33 acre farm that cant have her. his wife doesnt want her. another friend says he will eat her because he believe what the Koran says, that Jesus will come back and kill all the swine...lol..jk. He grew on a hog farm with 160 hogs and want no more. His kids want a pig but he has closed the perverbial pig-door.

I registered her as a Emotional Support Animal for my ptsd and bipolarism so the coty of Rock Hill cant say I cant keep her and when I go to my dr next tuesday he says he will talk to me about this.Hopefully I can get a letter from him stating I can keep her.

The people who had her, fed her wrong. we can already see her losing weight and moving better. she can see again!! yah! no fat eyelids!

We just cant keep her and with everyone we have been trying, they are saying no.

can anyone help in the North Carolina/South Carolina area...close to Rock Hill??

Oh yeah, by the way...Hi all my friends

You've got a big heart! Really great that you're going to these lengths to find a home for your pig. Looks like he'd make a great pet for someone in the right circumstance. Hope you get a taker. :)

I'd take her but I'm out in Oklahoma. They make great companions and can be used as kitchen waste disposal. Sounds like the previous owner fed her too many treats though. My mom had a hog years ago as a pet, and the vet looked her right in the eye and told her 'No More Twinkies'.
