I have a favor to ask of you peeps; I'm making an article for the BYC Article Competition about calm breeds of chickens because I see a lot of BYC members asking about calm breeds. However, I need pics. I don't have all the breeds (I only have two and the pics are awful!), so I thought it'd be fun to have BYC members give me photos. In the article I'll say who's pic it is and all that. So, the breeds I need pics of are:
Buff Orpington
Silkie
Black Australorp
(Light) Sussex (or another color variety)
Mille Fluer d'Uccle
Cochin
Dominique
Easter Egger
Sex Link

Either rooster or hen is fine, and a clear/crisp pic is preferred. Thanks guys!!

You can use pics of Barney (I'll go through and find some more) he's my calmest bird by a long shot. I have some pics of my EE hens if you want but most of those are older pics since they're kinda favored by the roosters and they have bare backs so I haven't taken pics of them in awhile.

The piggies were so small! Awe, Barney was an adorable chick!

Sounds good! So the only breeds I need now are: Buff Orp Cochin Dominique Sex Link I know Dominiques are rare, and not many people have them, so I can go online to get pics for them. But if anyone has pics of Dominiques I'll take them! And Sarah has some really good pics of her Buff Orps, so I just need her permission to use them.

Yeah, I might not be able to get any BA pics, Blaackies looking pretty awful it's about:first time best breeds.what are the RIGHT breeds for you?and the frendlyiest VS. he meanest.also, Hen VS.Rooster Chick VS. Pullet/Cockerl

That's alright! Our BO's are looking a bit rough right now! Moo Cow is on the tail end of her molt and not to mention anytime I try to take a pic of her she basically assaults my camera. And Buttercup just started molting. It's a bit of a mess! That'll be a great article!

All of my chickens look awful!brownie looks like a mini emu!LOLawwwww, poor Moo Cow!LOL.
