How is this article on Wry Neck?Does it seem ok?:https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/...rything-you-need-to-know-on-treating-wry-neck
Why are you sad? :/ Is it because she's getting older?
Cool! :clap
I don't know how to word this, but I guess my aunts sorta selfish and maybe a little bit jaded. She sees our dogs now and thinks that they're the best dogs ever, and so she thinks all dogs from a shelter are going to be like that. What she didn't see was all the training that went into our dogs to make them how they are today. She didn't see how many times our dogs peed our in the house. And like, the first night we got our Beagle, she ran away and was following a rabbit trail. My dad and uncle had to chase her through pine trees and into a creek. My dad and uncle also have bad backs, so their backs were hurting too. And my uncle lost his phone. So, unlike my aunt thinks, dogs aren't just all roses and rainbows, they take training to become a good dog. But, I guess my aunt is keeping the dog now. :idunno Whatever, I think that this might not be the responsible thing to do because they don't have enough time, but it wasn't the responsible thing to return the dog either. The most responsible thing was to not adopt the dog at all. I feel like my aunt and cousins need to go to a dog clinic or something to educated about dogs and dog behavior. They honestly know nothing about dogs and they don't really listen when we try to tell them about dogs.

They do need to learn. That poor dog.Im so sorry Abbey.

Aww! I love her(?) colours! :love
I hate to disappoint, but she's not a milk snake - she's actually a corn snake. :p

It is pretty.
It looks identical to an eastern milk snake to me, and that's what my brother in law said it was

Eastern milk snake.

Also, if you need any advice on snakes, let me know. I'm pretty much swimming in knowledge.

Yep, I know!

Love the article! :D It helped me learn because I didn't know anything about wry neck. :)

Yeah, they do. :/ I love them, it's just they don't understand animals very well. And my cousin is like my best friend, practically my sister, but she has some quirks that just annoy me so much. Like she refuses to eat pig and hates all people that take market projects to fair. And it's embarrassing in the barns because she always judges on how well the animals are taken care of and if the pigs have scratches and stuff like that. I try to tell her it's annoying and she just gets mad at me and storms off. I'm probably going to be taking a market hog soon to fair, so I don't really know what to do. I'm okay with market projects, I just the want the animal to be humanely killed....I wish that was how my cousin was. :( Sorry for my rant, Kyndra. :hugs

Me too. Nice! Most of my cousins are either way older than me or way younger. :/

I have a few things to say, first of all it's a good article :thumbsup But I just want to point out a few things you may consider adding. Firstly Parsley and turmeric are high in vitamin E, that's what we gave one of our ducklings that had it and that worked really well. Also ducks can get it too. :p

Hey Sarah!!! How are you? Hope everything is well with your family and your flock. :hugs

[CONTENTEMBED=/t/1137513/mountain-peepss-chat-thread-continued/5240#post_17868476 layout=inline]I'm sick at the moment but otherwise doing great. How are you??:) [/CONTENTEMBED]

I'm sorry. :hugs Hope you get better soon. :) I'm great. Have family staying with us for Christmas and we're having fun. My mom is expecting again with #11 (or 12 if it's twins ;)). The flock might be dealing with worms, but I'm using natural remedies to hold them off until I can kill the infestation in the spring. We have 8 kittens in the coop right now so I think that's where the worms came from.

How's your birds? :)
