My baby's came in!

My little girls arrived this morning!!! One sadly didnt survive the trip. The other 9 did and seem to be thriving for the most part. Here are a few pics. Now I just have to figure out what kind of egg layers I got since I ordered the assortment special and they give you a random variety

@tiggirl ideal offers a few assortments. I choose to order assorted standard egg layers. They choose a random mix of egg layers they have available at the time. I think I ended up with 4 different breeds, possibly 5. But the catch is it's a guessing game. They just give you a random mix of what hatched well that week if you choose the assortment so they can't even tell you what you got. Kind of fun in my opinion cause it's like a surprise when you receive them, because in my case I just wanted a few different breeds but wasnt set on exactly which types I wanted

I have a two year old daughter as well. From what I read about a lot of the egg layer breeds they all have the potential to be really good pets if they're socialized well. I could be wrong though I'm still pretty new, done lots of reading but nothing beats experience. It just seemed like a worthwhile option. Cost me $40 for 10 chicks, shipping and the grogel they recommended. @tiggirl
