I'm new to this board. I have had Buff Orpingtons for about 1 year. I'm down to only two because of predators but I thought it would be a good time to get NPIP certified as I am hatching and ordering chicks very soon. All my birds came from NPIP hatchery.

Anyone been through the NPIP process lately? I am in Starkville, MS. Basically I just give my eggs to friends and family for eating and I want to do everything I can to make sure they are safe.

I'm waiting to hear back from them.

I'm just updating this. I spoke to the NPIP lady who told me to contact them in the spring when I had more chickens, at least 5 months old. I only have 2 hens now. Very helpful lady who answered all my questions.
