We are moving to Indiana in March and hoping to take our flock of 17 hens and 5 Muscovy ducks with us. We are wanting to go north of Fort Wayne. Does anyone have recommendations on which places are chicken friendly?
 
I believe most towns/cities here in Indiana are chicken friendly. I work in Kokomo and several of my patients that live in town have chickens and one has ducks, too. I look through the chickens for sale on craigslist daily and see a lot for sale from in-town people. Welcome in advance! By moving here in March you should miss the winter mess!
 
Will you be buying or renting for a time? We moved just east and a little north of Ft Wayne and found a rental property that allowed 6 out of our 10 girls to make the trip. No rooster (boo).
