Is this Hernia or Unabsorbed Sac?

So I had a problem with my first batch of ducklings I'm trying to hatch

And one of the chicks suffered pretty bad damage to his shell. I helped him a little after he piped and although I think assistance was needed for his hatching I was too worried he had yet to fully absorb his yolk sac so I left him alone. Well he just came out two hours ago of his own accord and with a lot of difficulty. Looks like what I had been worried about came to fruition. I've heard to just leave it alone and it will absorb but I've also seen people say thats a load of crap and to tie it off and clamp it because leaving it alone pretty much means death. I have no clue if this is hernia or unabsorbed yolk but any advice or assitance would be appreciated.

looks like it pulled out some of its intestines

you could try to put it back in, do you have any iodine, betadine, etc?

if you put it back in the main concern will be infection
 
Thanks, I do have Iodine. I've put neosporin on it to ward off bacteria for now. Hoping that keeps it clean. Had to place him on paper towel because the wood chips were sticking to him. He's chirping just fine and his legs are moving like a motor boat. Im worried he's gonna do more damage.

Don't know anything about putting intestines back into a body other than kinda just shoving them back in.

slowly and carefully, try not to pinch anything, kinda like a single finger massage, but dont force them
make sure they are clean when they go back in
make sure the paper towel is kept clean and wet, i keep my babies on paper towels for their first week or so of life because they try to eat shavings
 
Also consider quality of life, be prepared to euthanize just in case, just have that in the back of your mind, i hope it goes well
