What types of chickens?

With that information, they could be anything.

The black appears to be a developing proper BCM. Shape, feathering, skin, shanks, all indicate that. Lucky rescue. Those can be more valuable if from good lines.

The gold white may be a sexlink, and thus female if from a hatchery, but I've noticed a lot of white. With its sketchy past, it may be a mixed breed. A lot of my mixes look like that.

The grey is likely mixed or could be a particular breed. All you can do is wait and post a photo as it nears adult feathering.

Since they are rescues they could be from anywhere with any kind of background.

At least we're relatively positive about the black one, they're all beautiful birds anyway.
Thanks for all your help!

I'll just have to wait and see how they develop and update you guys

Yes. They are all beautiful.

Birds of any feather are fun to keep and watch.

Hopefully you have 2 pullets and 1 rooster, so you can also get eggs.

If the BCM rooster has dark egg laying genes (which a good one should), that could cast a darker tone over his progeny. You won't get dark chocolate eggs, nor even a bone fide BCM color, but it can enrichen the brown over brown layers..

I actually bred my GSL to my Barnevelder to try to deepen the terra cotta color...and it did breed through. I won't get the really dark eggs, but GSL often have a lovely clay pot color.

Time will tell...but no matter what, they'll be a fun flock.

That sounds awesome, Im glad the color came through for you.
I'm also hoping we end up with 2 hens and just 1 rooster. We already have two other chickens, a RIR which turned out to be a rooster and what looks like black australorp hen. They're a little over 4 months old, no eggs or crowing yet

In case anyone was wondering, here's the flock now a few months later :)
