What does this sound mean?

Yay it finally posted the URL above! Take a look and let me know if y'all have any idea what this sound means haha I'm so curious!

I have not heard that sound before. She looks fluffed up. Is she acting sick?
Our coop was broken into by a dog last week and caused a lot of chaos. She has a hurt leg at the moment so we have her inside, she isn't sick and doesn't act like she is in pain and is very pleasant just having some trouble getting up just yet.

She might look ruffles because she just got herself all settled into the corner she likes to sleep in

It could be a baby bedtime trilling call. Come to think of it I think I have heard a similar noise at bedtime from my birds. Don't keep her away from the flock too long or you will have troubles getting her back in the group. I have a separation pen inside my shed just for such purposes.

It certainly is the bedtime trilling noise chicks make when they are signalling to each other or their broody hen that they need to congregate together for sleep and warmth. When a broody is present, this sound is a signal to her that her chicks need for her to "assume the position" so they can get under her.

The sound generally signifies contentment. That's a happy, secure chick.

Great thank you all so much! She usually does it when I come into the room or am petting her, glad it's a happy noise! We are going to move her back out within a day or two in an enclosure inside the coop with the rest of them and see how it goes :)

Glad you got it figured out and she is safe!
