So I'm getting 10 more chickens and 2 rooster....im wondering if a blue copper maran or a white leg horn is to big for 4.5 pound red sex links

The leghorn shouldn't be too large. Also, roosters do influence their daughters' egg laying and a leghorn will lay more than a marans (My marans lay beautifully colored eggs and I can use them to make olive eggers, but they are my poorest layers.) so you might want to consider that. However, if a rooster is gentle size difference doesn't matter so much unless you want to hatch eggs. Then the chick of a large father might grow too large for the egg,'
My Jersey giant boy would leave the bantams alone, but when one little bantam hen solicited him (Yes, I watched and she definitely approached him.) he couldn't resist. Somehow he never seemed to hurt her and she loved him.
Of course you don't know if your new boy will be a gentleman or a holy terror.
