sick hen twitching sporadically

So this morning when I went in the coop to let them out Amelia (Sussex) fell off the roost rod I just thought she had lost her footing, but she lay on the floor, head bent to the left, left wing out twitching. I picked her up and she seemed shocked but fine got down, walked around a bit then had another episode. She is eating and walking around but then all of a sudden starts twitching. So far no other symptoms no one else is showing any other sort of symptoms. The best way I can describe is almost like a seizure of some type.
She is in sick bay at the moment away from the others.
 
They were vaccinated against Mareks and outwardly appears normal, no paralysis etc. Just these twitching falling over seizure episodes.
We are going to pick up some poly vi sol, does anyone know if this can be detrimental if not needed?
The only thing that is different from normal is they have just gone through a hard moult.
 
This could be wry neck. It can present itself as appearing like seizures. Get the polyvisol without iron, vitamin B complex, vitamin E and selenium (or provide sunflower seed treats for selenium). Unused vitamins are easily expelled by the body. This won't do harm if it is not wry neck. Is it possible she took a peck to the head?
 
It is possible she took a peck but not anything to break the skin, she has dropped down the pecking order when she moulted as she literally lost all of her feathers in one day.

Hmmmmm.......Possible Coccoid issue......Nutritional imbalance......Add more protein to the diet......Cut out all snacks......

A chicken with those kind of symptoms get me out of the chair right quick. I like how you put the hen in sick bay to help her out. Unfortunately the symptoms you describe can be caused by a number of things: malnutrition, (B vitamins/calcium ratio out of wack) viral/bacterial/fungal infection that has spread to the brain/spine. Cardiac issues can also cause a chicken to stop, drop and roll. If adding vitamins does not relieve the symptoms then you must decide it you want to take the patient to the veterinarian where radiographs and blood work can be performed. Unfortunately in many cases the cause can not be determined until a necropsy is performed.

Your right theoldchick it can be so many things symptoms which cross over, the only thing different from the others is she went through a very hard moult (fluffy to bald in a day)
We gave her food yesterday and every time she stretched her head forward to eat she would then twitch her head to the left. I added poly vi sol and sunflower seeds and some tuna (in water) later and this morning, there was no shaking after she ate. she came out of her "kennel" and wandered around to stretch her legs this morning, including flying up onto kennel before being ushered begrudgingly back to her sick bed. Luckily no signs of anything from the others although its my fault its cold.
I am keeping fingers crossed that its a vitamin inbalance, and I don't have any of the horrible diseases etc.
