Sick chicken!please help

A good balanced 16-20 % protein layer or all flock feed is good for chickens who are of laying age. All flock feed is a little better for roosters because of having less calcium, but many of us feed layer to all of our chickens. Since cracked corn and scratch on contain 8% protein, those treats should only make up less than 10% of the diet.

Go down to the Reply box, and go over to the 5th box and click on what looks like a mountain with a sun or moon in the sky. Follow instructions to post a pic off your computer that you have downloaded. Give him some water containing poultry vitamins and electrolytes (such as SaveAChick or Nutri-Drench.) Make sure that he is eating--feed some chopped egg, tuna, or wet chicken feed. Look at his eyes for any unusal color or cloudiness. A drooping wing is another sign of illness, possibly from dehydration or even from something like Mareks disease. Mareks usually affects unvaccinated young birds, and symptoms can include paralysis in one or both wings, legs, or neck, and wasting. Hopefully it is nothing that drastic, but here is some reading about it:

He is still eating.and he is drinking some.i have vitamins in his water
That sounds good.....Bring him inside for a couple of hours in a crate....Warming him up might also help?

I will not scare you with all disease they can carry.....

just try things....Feed him his water and feed...No fillers or remedies....

Cheers!
