So I brought her up to work and had the vet take a peak, he immediately said it was a tumor. She was only 6 months old, not sure where this lady had gotten her from but maybe a bad breeder? She was not improving (not eating or drinking, wouldn't open her eyes, smelled like death) so I had him euthanize her for her own sake. I'm bummed cause she was a beautiful chicken, I would have loved to help her but i think this was for the best. Thanks again for your help/support!
Well, after everything was said and done, you did help her. Sometimes all we can do is make the hard call and you did.
You did help her. You made the hard decision that we sometimes have to make.
