HELP 2 week old female chick problem

This morning she had a little on her booty, but it was easy to clean. She still hasn't started to grow her tail feathers. That has me concerned. Is that because of the pasty butt?

She is always at the bottom of the pile.
Can you post a pic of her now? Be very gentle when you are cleaning her butt, I find that dipping her butt in warm water then gently drying is better than rubbing.

Ok it is looking better, may I make another suggestion. Keep it clean as you are and put a dot of Preparation H cream for the inflammation for a couple days, get the lotion one that isn't too greasy. It appears on the road to recovery. Feathers should grow in a little while.

Looking good , my little one was always under the others. I think she was cold . New pin feathers grew in a few weeks after she healed up . You did it! Feels good to help the struggling ones .keep checking though , mine got a small hard poop plug for many days.

Good job chicken mama

Yes, Still have to clean her close to every other day. But she is better

Thank you for all you help and support with her

If you are still having to clean her at an older age I would do a little more homework. It is usually a baby bird problem. There could be other factors with feed or water. Scrub waterer every day and you could try the old trick of ACVinegar - 1 tablespoon per quart of water.
