Hi guys,
I have 14, week old (nearly two week old), Japanese quails. All are doing fine except for one whose wings look crooked and right leg is swollen and seems to be unusable. He is getting to the food by dragging his body using his one good leg but he is half the size of the rest. I feel really awful for him and want to help him but I don't know what to do, do you guys have and suggestions?

i have one that has just hatched with a deformed leg, it's not splay leg but bent back with a lump on it, i don't think this one is going to make it, it's so sad as she is very pretty quail.

wait!! I had a chick with this! Is it using the hock as a foot?
my chick did very well, I made him a cast to protect the hock from sores and help him walk

he didn't seem in any pain, and grew fast.....but he recently drowned in the water

it was such a shame, he was very strong and I had grown very attached to him.....if I can offer any advise, just be super mindful of that water! as long as she isn't in pain, there's no reason why she can't live a long and happy life
