My chickens are more pets than they are for livestock, so I can't help but be silly with them.
I found this flat wire at hobby Lobby and as I already have a stamping set, I made them name bands! On the other leg I plan to put my phone number in case for any reason they get loose. What do you think?

Is the wire nice and smooth so it won't hurt their legs. I don't know about phone number. Maybe you could leave a work no. so strangers don't have your home number. With all the strange goings-on in the world, I think the less info. the public gets, is best.

The "wire" is flat and very smooth, much like a toy ring you'd get from a vending machine. As for my number, I'm a SAHM that sells artisinal breads from home, and it's the same number I use for that. I've never had any trouble with people.
