Hey everyone!

I've been seeing quite a few different threads for sharing pictures of poultry bought from particular hatcheries and thought it might be fun for some of the Canadians on this forum to join in! I chose Performance Poultry since it has a large variety of ornamental birds compared to many other Canadian hatcheries.

Here is a couple pictures of one of the Sebright roosters I got from them last year to get the thread started.

Posts can be of any type of bird of any breed. All I ask is that you say what breeds they are in your post.
That being said, lets see your Performance Poultry stock!

Ohh I wish I had photos of my birds. I ordered some Barnevelders, Blue Andelusians, and Americaunas from Performance Poultry years ago. They were great birds, out during the day and back to the coop in a line before dusk. We got so many eggs from them, in the winter as well. When they were 6 or 7 years old they went to an elderly lady in town who always wanted some pet chickens, so her husband gave her ours for her 80th birthday..! She loved the green eggs, they were still laying reliably.
I plan to order chicks from them again in the next little while, if he can scrounge a few for me.

This is a pretty old thread but I have twenty-four, 11-week-old hens from Performance Poultry and I couldn't be more delighted. I LOVE these birds! Right from day one they've been happy, healthy, sane, friendly and exceptionally well-adjusted. They're starting to free range now and 99.9% of the time they all find their way back to the coop without any help. The breeds I have include: Welsummers; Black Australorp; Easter Eggers; Buff Orpington; and Dominique.
Next spring, I'm hoping to add a few more breeds but I need to find someone local to split orders with. (uh-oh!!!... chicken math). :lol:
