In the middle, standing on the feeder is a little chick we picked up from Agway. If you enlarge the pic, you can see more of the back. She, we hope, was in the section of Ameracuana/Araucanas. What do you think she is?
Probably an Easter Egger. Any time you see a bin labeled Ameraucana/Araucana, it's guaranteed the chicks are Easter Eggers. Ameraucana and Araucana are two different breeds. And color is always specified with either breed.
Easter Eggers are basically what the Ameraucana and the Araucana breeds were derived from. They are more of a landrace type rather than a proper breed.
